BISHOP DIER HOPKINS

Pastor Dier Hopkins is a native of Atlanta and one of five (5) siblings to Grace and

the late Lynwood Willingham. He is the Pastor and Founder of New Direction Church where he has pastored over 20 years and is the Overseer of New Direction Virtual Ministries and Transforming Lives Ministries located in here in Georgia. He also founded Next Level Thinking and authored the selfsame-titled book.

A proud father of seven beautiful children and husband of First Lady Carrie Hopkins, he encourages furthering education. Leading by example, he has continued his education and obtained his Board Certification as a Christian Pastoral Counselor in June of 2020 and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership from Restoration Theological Seminary in July of 2020.

Pastor Hopkins serves as Chaplain to the Douglasville Police Department where has been a mentor for over 15 years with the Youth Against Violence Program under the leadership of Chief Gary Sparks.

FIRST LADY CARRIE HOPKINS

First Lady Carrie Hopkins is a native of Brooklyn, New York where she is the oldest of two siblings to Mrs. Hattie Sisco. She is the wife of Bishop Dier Hopkins and Mother of three.

She is Overseer of New Direction’s - Women With Direction - Ministry and believes in standing on the word of God to encouraging everyone that she meets to trust and believe that God is

able to do anything but fail. Her go-to scripture and favorite in a list of many is “Now unto him

that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think, according to the

power that worketh in us.” (Ephesians 3:20).
